Question:

Betreff: Plotting from two computers to one Summa T1300 | Name: Bob Austin (bob@mikongt.com) | 29.06.2000 21:29:24

We have a customer that needs to be able to plot from two different computers each running Co-Cut Pro to one Summa T1300. Can anyone give me an idea of how this can be done. Presently computers are networked. Since T1300 is autosensing you can not connect to serial and parallel ports at the same time.

Thanks for your ideas.

Dear Mr. Austin,

try to use a print server, which you connect to the parallel port of your plotter. Share this print server in the network and assign the spooler of this server to a virtual parallel port (like LPT3) on each computer, which uses CoCut. Then each computer can place itīs cut jobs from CoCut into the print queue using LPT3 as output.

Best regards
