Dear Mr. Paping,

the dongle has do be placed to the parallel port. If all object are crossed, then the software runs in demo mode, because it did not find the dongle. Please be sure, that the parallel port is set to SPP (standard) mode. Please try first to use the dongle standalone at the parallel port (without any cable, printer, scanner ...) .

In reloading my entire system to win 98SE...I have "windows scripting host" in windows installed yet can't see "general scripts" in the ../customize/toolbox to pull cocut out..I only application scripts in there with no cocut. I am using 4.22 co-cut for corel 8.
Thanks
Gayle

Dear Mr. Rolfe,

the Windows Scripting Host has nothing to do with Corel Scripts. Corel has its own scripting ability.
It seems, that you have an older CoCut version which needed to have the script compiler (or script editor) of CorelDRAW installed. If you have CoCut for CorelDRAW 3-8 installed, you also have the possibilty to copy the files from the CorelDRAW8/Scripts directory to the CorelDRAW8/Draw/Scripts/Scripts directory. You then will find cocut8.csc in the Application Scripts folder.
