Question:

Betreff: Cutting algorithm - can it be changed? | Name: Michael D. (shop@speedgraphics.net) | 20.01.2004 17:48:53

I have been using Co-Cut Pro for several years and use Summa cutters with the OPOS feature quite frequently. We cut graphics that are frequently 50inches X 120inches or larger. The files are usually a mix of small decals and larger graphics. The problem we run into is that the cutter may cut a small portion of the graphic at the front of the graphic, but then quickly track all the way back the end of the graphic and cut some back there, then move back to the front, etc... All of the moving back and forth can (and has) caused vinyl wrinkles and other problems. I slow the speed down, but would like to know if the cutter can be set up in a way so that it cuts from the front and then moves its way to the back. It would make things much less dramatic... If it cant be changed (easily) is there anything I can include in the file that would "create" that method of cutting? Thanks in advance!

Select Sort in the CoCut cutting dialog

Sort is selected by default and it is selected when I cut. Should that be unselected?
