Betreff: Positioning question with Roland CM-400. | Name: David (dkaiser@centiv.com) | 22.01.2002 16:19:06
Hello. When using CoCut (downloaded the latest version). There is a positioning problem. We load the vinyl in the Roland and set the origin outside the image (0,0), near registration mark 1. Next we set the three registration marks, using the "Read Position" buttons, we sight up the marks by dropping the knife. When we are done reading the 3rd registration mark, we select cut, and the cutter will cut from where we left the knife as if it was registration 1, it cuts from where we leave it, and does not return to its origin (0,0) or registration 1 before it begins cutting. In-order for CoCut to cut on the Roland CM-400 properly, we have to set the origin on registration mark 1 (origin 0,0) manually, and after inputting registration 3, we have to bring it *back* to registration 1. This is very time consuming and tedious. Our current cutting software, although old, will return to its origin and begin cutting. How do I make CoCut preform like this? Thank you in advance... -DK

Hallo David, you must use the mode "Cut after alignment" in the cutting dialog if you use the CM-400 driver. Best regards Hans Friedrich Holz / Support
