Betreff: CoCut Mac Pro, not for CorelDRAW? | Name: Daniel (dcraig@rhbarringer.com) | 03.05.2000 20:45:09
I have seen the information, regarding CoCut Mac Pro, in the Summa Direct catalog. I have used CoCut since version 3, for CorelDRAW on a PC, and would like to see the program support CorelDRAW on a Mac as well. I understand that it will work as a plug-in for Illustrator and Freehand, but for use with CorelDRAW, one will have to copy/paste between programs. To be honest, I am unwilling to switch from Mac CorelDRAW. Call me a heretic, but I hate Adobe Illustrator. Why not call the program Mac AI-Cut Pro, if it's not going to work directly with CorelDRAW? It seems like a bad move, on Eurosystem's part, not to provide support for CorelDRAW across the board, especially since Mac CorelDRAW 8 is currently available for free, as an LE model, or at a reduced price (less than $100 from MacWarehouse).

It is our schedule that the CoCut Mac version will work with CorelDRAW Mac in the same way it works on the PC/Windows side. We can give you no exact date for that because Corel corporation handles the Mac products in another way than the PC products and we depend a little on that. As soon as we have connect the CoCut Mac to Corel DRAW Mac in a proper way the name should be O.K. too. For more questions do not hesitate to contact us. Best Regards Albert Meyer / EUROSYSTEMS
Does CoCut now have a version of the software working with CorelDraw, and will it drive a Mimaki CG130LX?
Hi, We own a copy of CoCut to cut graphics out of Corel Draw 12. My husband purchased it however he deceased in 2012. I have very old equipment and am eager to upgrade now. I am running Windows XP on the old laptop and then have a Ioline Cutter which came with Flexicut, so the switch to CoCut was wonderful. Im trying to learn what the best route to go in getting set up using a new computer and then the programs and possibly a new cutter. Any help would be very much appreciated. Also- we have nice Mac desk top computer that I could consider using. It is maybe 5 years old and it was barely used. It belongs to my current husband. I would consider using it if I can get the system set up right. I have been a long time user of PC computers and Corel for my graphic designing. Thanks again, Janet Smith
