I have been following ms.rameys problem. I am having the same problem!!!! It cut for a while at long lengths then stopped at shorter and shorter distances til I could only cut about 5 1/2 long.
I have already sent e-mail to your support inquiry, all the os information is there. My first e-mail in the support inquiry, I said, added a hardware profile, didnt work, deleted it.
After that e-mail, I found the corespondense between you and Mrs. Ramey. And I have done what you said.
Summa contral, flow is set to hardware (It was xon/xoff)
Settings, port changed flow control to hardware (It was xon/xoff)
Settings, port settings, advanced disabled FIFO buffers
Still did not work can you please help us???
Thank you

Hello Kathrine,

did you already try to reset your plotter by pressing the the "menu" button 5 times to get the "reset" option and then pressing the "enter" button. The plotter then should behave like it was delivered.

Best regards

The vinyl loads uneven. Will have to call summa yet again. They have already had to replace my fist machine. I hope not again?????? Digusted with summacut.
Thanks for your help.
