I just installed cocut 9 and was able to make a cut on my Ioline 3500. I made a few demo cuts and it seems to work okay. I did cut a rectangle 32" long but was not able to cut a 36 " rectangle.
I have a question. How do you make a second cut of an object above original cut or be able to position the second cut at a specific area? On the second cut of the same object, I moved/shifted the object above the preview image thinking it would cut above the first cut but it ended up to the above right of the original cut. Any suggestions?

Dear Mr. Kamikawa,

Normally your plotter was delivered with the software "Ioline Control Center" with which you have the possibilty to increase the framesize up to 30 meters.
If you want to place a cut above the first cut without setting a new origin at your plotter, you should select "No Material Advance" in the field "Reference Point" of the Cut-dialog before you cut the first job. Then the origin point for the second plot will be the same like the origin point of the first plot and you can place the objects for the second plot in the position above the objects of the first cut.

Hans, I have another problem. I just installed Cocut 9. I have a Ioline 3500 and working with CorelDRAW 7. The cuts are 250% larger. I made a 1 square shape and the cuts are coming out 2-1/2 square.

Dear Mr. Kamikawa,

You have two possibilities, to correct this:
1. Change the resolution of your plotter to 0.01mm (if it is now set to 0.025mm)
2. Change the resolution of the driver to 0.025mm (if it is now set to 0.01mm) by pressing STRG-SHIFT-P to start the DriverEditor when the Cut-Dialog is opened and changing value in the field "Plot Point".
